Booking & Payment Policy: Securing Your Himalayan Journey
To ensure every detail of your expedition—from our most experienced drivers to our hand-picked boutique stays—is locked in and ready, we follow a structured payment schedule.
1. For Fixed Departure Batches

Seat Reservation: ₹3,000 per person (Non-refundable). This secures your slot in the specific batch.

First Instalment (50% of total): Due 45 days prior to the departure date. This allows us to finalize bulk bookings for hotels and transport.

Final Balance (100%): Must be cleared 15 days prior to the departure date.

Why 15 days? This ensures all funds are settled before the 7-day hotel lockdown period in Leh, giving us a buffer for bank processing or weekend delays.

2. For Private & Customised Tours

Token Advance: 25% of the total package cost to initiate the booking of specific requested hotels and private permits.

Final Balance: Must be cleared 15 days prior to your arrival in Leh.

Note: For high-end luxury stays or peak-season bookings (June/July), we may request full payment 21 days in advance if the specific hotel has a strict non-refundable deadline.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
As your Local Guardians, we understand that plans can change. However, as a remote region with limited seasonal inventory, our partners (hotels and transporters) have strict policies.

Cancellations 30+ days before arrival: 75% of the total amount (minus the non-refundable booking token) will be refunded.

Cancellations 15–29 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.

Cancellations less than 15 days before arrival: No refund. At this stage, all hotels, permits, and vehicles have been fully paid for and locked in.
The "Local Guardian" Safety Clause
In the rare event of a sudden road closure, landslide, or government restriction that prevents the tour from starting, Ladakh Adventure Holiday will provide a Credit Note for the full amount (valid for 1 year) or adjust the itinerary to an alternative safe route. We stand by you when the mountains are unpredictable.
Note: Child Policy
Child below 5 Yrs will be complimentary.
Above 8 Yrs will be considered as Extra Bed.
Prices valid from season 2019
Prices valid for minimum 02, 04, 06, 08 & 10 pax travelling together in one vehicle.
100% payment to be deposited before the trip starts.
Payment in Leh office should be Cash Only.
Final Confirmation will be provided on full payment.
Vehicle Provided as per mention tour plan (Point to Point Basis only)
No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
Cancellation Policy for Land Package.
10% cancellation charges if cancelled before 30 days prior to the tour.
25% cancellation charges if cancelled within 20 days prior to the tour.
50% cancellation charges if cancelled within 10 days prior to the tour.
No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after starting or middle of the tour.
General Policies-
It is mandatory for all guests to carry a valid photo ID proof like Electoral ID Card, Your Passport, & Driving license at the time of Checkin.
PAN cards are not accepted as valid ID proof.
Ladakh Adventure Holiday reserves the right to change/ amend any policies depending on the nature of tour, season, etc. without prior notice.
Cancellation Policy-
For fixed departures
Any cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the departure date would attract a 20% cancellation of the total ticket value.
Any cancellations made within 30 days of the departure date would attract 100% cancellation of the total ticket value.
If your full payment is not received 30 days prior to the departure date, the booking stands cancelled without any prior intimation and the amount received by the Ladakh Adventure Holiday will be forfeited with no refund.
For private/customised tours
10% cancellation charges if cancelled before 30 days prior to the tour.
25% cancellation charges if cancelled within 20 days prior to the tour.
50% cancellation charges if cancelled within 10 days prior to the tour.
No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after starting or middle of the tour.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control:
In case of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to road blockage due to a landslide, heavy snowfall, avalanche and other natural disasters, war, terrorist activity and political insurgency, we reserve the right to cancel/reschedule/change tour plans. We cannot pay any compensation for monetary/value loss in such unforeseen situations.
Caution
Almost all of our tours operate in remote and secluded, and high altitude places like Ladakh. And comes with increased risk of high altitude related sickness, limited medical facilities, and fewer chances of rapid evacuation.
