day is for preventing Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS). Check into your hotel and spend the entire day resting. Avoid the temptation to explore; let your lungs adjust to the thin Himalayan air. Sip on local ginger- lemon-honey tea and stay hydrated. If you feel 100% fit by evening, a very gentle stroll to the local Main Bazaar and the town.

After breakfast at the hotel, relax at the hotel, we will ride along the Leh - Srinagar Highway and visit some of the popular sightseeing along the way. We will visit the Hall of fame museum, which is built in the memory of those martyrs of the numerous war that the region has seen. Also on the list are the Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Sangam -The confluence of Zanskar river & Indus River. Later we will return back to Leh and also visit Shanti Stupa and Leh market.Overnight stay at Leh.

Here, you can ride the rare, double-humped Bactrian camels—a legacy of the ancient Silk Road—as the sun sets behind the Karakoram Range.

We’ll stay in a camp near the shore to witness the stars reflecting in the crystalline waters.

Early in the morning, we'll wake to the mesmerizing sunrise at the lake, its tranquillity compelling a return. The day's ride starts soon, tracking the edge of the blue waters through Man and Merak into the rugged Changthang region. Riding parallel to the international border, we'll pass the Rezang La War Memorial and ascend the Tsaga La pass. Navigating sand tracks, desert plains, and water crossings will make it a thrilling adventure. As dirt trails give way to tarmac near Loma, we'll cruise into Hanle, home to one of the highest astronomical observatories. Overnight stay at a cozy homestay in Hanle.

Our journey kicks off shortly after, traversing the remote beauty of Changthang, where we might spot wild animals in their natural habitat. As we head towards Umling La, the world’s highest motorable pass, prepare for a challenging ascent. The rugged trails and stunning views are complemented by the thrill of crossing icy streams. After conquering Umling La, we’ll make our way back to Hanle for a restful overnight stay.

We head out from the remote astronomical haven of Hanle toward the bustling heart of Leh. Moving through the vast, stark valleys of the Indus, we traverse a landscape defined by dramatic geological shifts and ancient trade routes. You’ll likely spot the rare Black-necked Crane wading through the marshes near the riverbanks. We pass through Upshi, where the greenery of the Indus valley begins to soften the rugged high-altitude terrain. The sight of Thiksey Monastery, tiered like a mini Potala Palace against the stark desert sky, is a majestic vision you’ll never forget.
