Itinerary
Day 1

Arrivalat at Leh and acclimatize

Leh
+

Julley! Upon landing at 11,500 ft, your only job is to breathe. We cannot stress enough how vital this first day is for preventing Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS). Check into your hotel and spend the entire day resting. Avoid the temptation to explore; let your lungs adjust to the thin Himalayan air. Sip on local ginger-lemon-honey tea and stay hydrated. If you feel 100% fit by evening, We will take you for Leh local sighseeing to the beautiful Shanti stupa, Leh palace and later explore the Leh market.

  • Expert Tip: Avoid caffeine and alcohol today; stick to garlic soup, a local remedy for altitude.
Day 2

Leh to Sangam Sightseeing

Leh
+

Following breakfast at the hotel, we set out toward Sangam, the breathtaking confluence where the emerald Indus meets the chocolate-hued Zanskar River. Our journey through this high-altitude landscape includes a stop at the Magnetic Hill, where gravity seems to defy logic, and the historic Spituk Monastery, which offers panoramic views of the entire Indus valley.

En route, we pay our respects at the Hall of Fame, a poignant museum dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Kargil War. This circuit captures the spiritual and natural essence of the region before we return to our base.

  • Distance: 75 km | Duration: 5 hours sightseeing.
Day 3

Leh to Pangong lake day trip

Leh
+

Today, we will drive to Pangong Lake, a popular tourist spot in Ladakh, which is 134 km long and 5 km wide. About 40% of the lake is in Ladakh and the rest in Tibet. The west end is saline with minimal marine life, while the eastern end is fresh. We'll travel along the Leh-Manali Highway for 40 km, then head towards Changla Pass, the second highest motorable road, often snowy in winter. In Changthang, we might see wild animals before reaching the lake. We will return to Leh via the same route, arriving by evening for an overnight stay.

Day 4
